Equipping Christ-Following Kids for Life

Wednesdays – 7:30-9:00 p.m. CST during the school year.

All children are invited to a time of fun & friendship that includes:

• Bible memory – our cornerstone.
• Circle games exclusive to AWANA.
• Thoughtful and age appropriate “Council Time” messages.
• Sing time where kids can joyfully let ‘er loose!
• Awards and prizes for work well done.
• Clubbers are rewarded for their achievements as they progress through handbooks.

We offer four different AWANA groups at HUC

• Cubbies: preschoolers age 3-5
• Sparks: K-2nd grade
• TNT: grades 3-6
• JV: grades 7-8

The acronym, AWANA, that stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is taken from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15: "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who des not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth"
