My name is Joshua, and I am the associate pastor at Hamlet Union Church. I am married to Courtney, and we have two children: Amelia (7) and August (3). I have served at HUC since Labor Day of 2011, before that I was a pastoral intern at First Alliance Church in Erie, Pa, and have served with the C&MA since 2009. Originally, I am from Waterloo, Iowa, but since leaving Iowa I have lived in Chicago, IL, Americas, GA, Garden Valley, TX, New Haven, CT, Boston, MA, and Erie, PA. God has granted me many opportunities to live, serve, and visit a lot places all over the United States, and 14 countries around the world. I hold two master degrees from Gordon-Conwell, one in theology, and another in church history. I like books, and the older the better. My wife and I met while we were serving with Youth With A Mission in New Haven, CT. She grew up in Erie, PA, and helped support our family through being a nurse while I finished graduate school and waited for a call to ministry. Today, Courtney takes care of our home raising our two children and helps out with various ministries at HUC. In our spare time, we like to eat good food, drink coffee, travel, and hang out with our kids. You can also find us attempting to be outdoor adventurers as we take advantage of the wide open wild spaces in the great plains of Southwest Nebraska.
